A firm furniture grade foam was used to create the new seat then covered in Dacron

The dacron helps with smoothing the body and makes the seat a bit more comfortable

Before putting the leather on I wraps this with cling-film for water proofing.

The completed project. Once all laced up, I stuff the lace with a wax / oil compound that I make in my workshop.

The wax / oil mix I make is heated at around 180 degrees C. This helps feed and waterproof the leather.
