In these examples below, you will see the variety and type of repair I have undertaken.

Briefcase tuck lock replacement
This Briefcase had a broken tuck lock. To replace it, I had to unstitch the lining so that I could get to the back of the tuck lock, remove it and then put a new lock in. Once the new lock was put on, I then restitched the lining. A colour and clean treatment was also done on the bag.

Coromandel Case Sympathetic Repair and Restore
The coromandel case dated at around the mid 19th century is in a very bad state. Most of the leather is dry, going into red rot and cracking. The inside lining was in a poor state - and as a purist, I would not normally replace it, however it was torn, stained and I could not get rid of the smell. The Straps were missing so I made new ones. The client also wanted the hardware changed to brass.
